Nunc Licet (now it is permitted)!
This list of authors was gathered over the years of chatting with church members, reading, and searching for more books written by the “Inner Voice” method. It is a growing list of authors who claimed to have written inspired writings for Jesus Christ after the Bible.
Author List
Emanuel Swedenborg (1688 – 1772) – Universal Theology of the New Jerusalem (30 vol. American Standard Ed.).
Jacob Lorber (1800 – 1864) – The Great Gospel of John (12 volumes).
Bertha Dudde (1891-1965) – Messages received through the Inner Word. Series of mini-revelations.
Maria Valtorta (1897 – 1961) – Poem of the Man-God (5 volumes).
Catherine Emmerich (1774 – 1824) – The Life of Jesus Christ and Biblical Revelations (4 volumes).
Gabrielle Bossis (1874 – 1950) – The book “He and I.”
Francis J. Roberts (1918 – 2009) – The book “Come Away My Beloved … and Pray.”
Sarah Young (1946 – 2023) – The book “Jesus Calling.”
Note: Not all of these authors wrote using the “Inner Voice” method. Emanuel Swedenborg reported speaking to angels to gather their doctrines or theology. Maria Valtorta and Catherine Emmerich had visions that they wrote down. It is Jacob Lorber, Bertha Dudde, Gabrielle Bossis, Francis J. Roberts, and Sarah Young that strictly wrote in the “Inner Voice” method which is “Rhema” or “New Spoken Word” (Jesus speaking in the first person).
